I locked in the theme months ago. At first I was painting related subjects, but once the brush started moving, the content shifted on its own—so I ended up changing the name…

A cymbal is an instrument that can shake out a resounding blast—like a call to attention. Its tonal range is vast, and the resonance lingers long after the strike.
After a heaven-splitting shock, colorful mists spill from the cymbal’s center, giving rise to mountain forms and blossoms—soft, yielding. And yet, at the same time, fierce energy rockets straight skyward—yang, vigorous, brimming with life.

It was the goddess’s sudden appearance that forced me to change the theme. Entirely unplanned. I had no choice but to let the brush lead, and so the goddess became the protagonist…

The goddess is, at her core, a volcano—yet her summit holds a lake, ringed by blossoms like a crown. Through that lake, energy rises from the volcano’s heart all the way up into the sky: a thread binding heaven to earth.

Upper left: the galaxies in the heavens, turning in their own unique rhythm. Below: the ocean and the land, where star-like Mandala drift and flow across the earth…

When the rhythm carries a spirit, the principal melody is born. This is the very essence of Shen Yun (The Divine Rhythm). Every living being has its own Melody of Life sounding forth, each one distinct. The entire universe is a shared composition of all life, each contributing its own unique tone.
