White Peacock 021 | The Buddha's Palm: Somatic Shock and Spiritual Baptism from Cosmic Energy Strikes

Question: What is the spiritual experience of the “Tathagata’s Divine Palm”?

Answer: It is a powerful infusion of energy from the Great Universe. This shock, akin to a cosmic thunderclap, breaks through the body’s blockages, bringing a tangible sensation of intense heat, tingling, and electric current. It is a profoundly destructive yet renewing spiritual baptism for both body and mind.

Author’s Note: A Cosmic Thunderclap of Mind-Body Resonance

So this is what it feels like to be struck by the entire Great Universe

It… really… hurts… > < Pain…

When it came down,

it was indeed a Cosmic Thunderclap!

During the impact, I felt a distinct burning in both arms,

I wonder if it was from the sheer weight of the strike…

I kept my eyes closed,

The classmate sitting in front of me

should have been able to see the change in my face…

On the bus ride home,

my arms ached and went numb,

my palms tingled,

as if a Spiritual Electric Current was running through them,

my hands were warm—no longer cold…

Of course, I didn’t see anything,

but I was already full,

because,

my frail little body

really couldn’t hold up under that force…

Getting this New Year’s gift—

I’m so grateful to the Teacher and his wife!

Teacher, you’ve really worked hard~~ ^ ^

• epistemic_status: factual
